I am a mother of six wonderful children, Alhamdulilah. I have three girls ages 14,12, and 5  and three boys ages 4, 2 and newborn, masha Allah.

We started homeschooling last year and subhan Allah we have come along way with our adventure into homeschooling. Teaching them all has surely been a task in itself but from the help of Allah we have made it through and we have found great homeschool support and resources on the internet.

I am also new at blogging, but I am sure I won’t have difficulty in it since I love to share with my sisters in Islam any ideas or advice that may be beneficial.  I look forward to hearing your feedback and seeing your blogs and what you have to share.

I hope you have enjoyed my posts thus far. I have many more ideas ahead so please keep following and adding your input as much as you want. I certainly do appreciate it all.

  16. Assalamu alaikum…Masha’Allah, may Allah reward you for your efforts. I am a teacher who once homeschooled and would like to know how do you handle it with 6 children, masha’Allah. I only have 3, and I find teaching the three different levels so challenging, mentally for me. I feel guilty that I am not covering for the other two what need to be taught when I spend extra time on a project with one. If you have any advice, please let me know.

Alhamdulillah. Very nice site, Ma sha Allah. I have two Ibns, 4 year old and 1 year old Alhamdulillah. I am currently homeschooling my 4year old. My problem I need help with by Allahs Mercy, is time and management. I want to design a curriculum to stick with InshaAllah. My 1 year old is a little road block, lol and I always seemed to be consumed in housework. InshaAllah you can help me. Being a housewife\mother is constant, May Allah reward us for our hardwork, Ameen. I just want some structure, any suggestions. Another problem I have is always wanting to learn Islam, not a problem, but I find myself on the computer to much because I am so HUNGRY for knowledge to better myself and family before I reach the grave InshaAllah. So sometimes the children are just hanging by my legs like “Umi pay us some attention please” so looking forward to your help. Jazak Allahu khair. May Allah bless and preserve us Ameen.

  19. As salaamu alaiki.. I am very pleased with the work you have done. And I wanted to say Shukraan for sharing all of this stuff with all of us. It is such a benefit for the children.. Nice stuff on here… BarakAllahu feeki ameen.. May Allah continue to give you the Tawfeeq ameen ameen ameen.. +smile+ JazaakiAllahu khyra ameen

May Allah help us and all of you to raise our precious sprouts according to the Quran and Sunnah, ameen.

    Love from Holland.

By the way: where do you get time to do all those things masha Allah, Allahuma barak??? I only have 2 kids and cant even find time to get dressed properly, Allahul musta3an…..

May Allah, S.W.A. blesses you for helping others. Dear Umm Abdul Basir,
MashaAllah I love your site and have used many of your resources in my Sunday School. I was trying to find the 2011 calendar like the one you had made for 2010. I was not able to find it. I was hoping to be able to contact you but not sure how to do that as well. For the year 2010/1431 you had made a beautiful calendar for each month with hadith on each month and Gregorian and Islamic dates the calendar was huge hit in my classroom and other girl students also enjoyed it very much. I was just wondering if you have the 2011/1432 one made and how may I receive it. JazakiAllahu-khairan!
May Allah(SWT) truly reward you and your families abundantly in this dunya and akhirah and make a increase in your work more fruitful and blessed for us all. Ameen I hope to hear from you sooon!!! 🙂
